The armoury crate
A crate players walk up to for radios and headsets. It never runs out and offers every radio in your Radios folder.
Make a crate
- Select any part or model in Studio
- Open View, Tags, and tag it RadioCrate
That's all: no special name or folder. Players see a prompt within 12 studs and press E.
What players see
The armoury opens in the radio window. The crate's radios sit in a rack on the left; the one they pick shows on the right with its band, how many nets it holds at once, its range, its type, its battery and whether it has a screen. The radios they carry are listed too (Carried · slot 1).
PageUpandPageDown, or a click, choose a radioE, or the button, takes it, or puts back one they carryHomeswitches to the Headsets tab: Wear, or Take off
With full hands the button is grey and says why. Two of the same radio is fine.
Name the crate
The prompt reads Armoury and Radios in a new game. Change it for every crate in RadioSettings, or for one crate with a String attribute of the same name on that part.
| Setting or attribute | What it changes | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Global.CrateName | The big line on the prompt | Armoury |
| Global.CrateAction | The small line beside the key. Empty hides it | Radios |
Radio pictures
Each radio's picture is Pack.CardImage in its own file: upload an image to Roblox and paste its ID number. Empty draws a marked-out box.
